Big Red Welcome applications are now available and designed for your convenience! In order to kick-start another academic year, the annual Welcome Festival will kick-start on Sunday, August 23, 2009. Over 10,000 people participate in this tradition in the horseshoe on the east side of Memorial Stadium (between Morrill Hall and the Coliseum), which presents an unparalleled opportunity for student organizations and businesses to advertise to new and returning students. Set up is from 3 to 5 p.m. and the fair takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. Ample parking available between the parking garages (14th and Stadium) and the green lots located to the North of Henzlik Hall. The Welcome Festival proved very successful for all people involved last year and we hope your organization will take advantage of this event.

1. In order to apply as a Business, UNL Department, or Recognized Student Organization (to qualify for this you must first be in compliance with Student Involvement by completing Annual Review Forms (ARF) when they elect new officers) please visit this form.
2. At the drop down menu, select from Business, UNL Department, and Student organization to view an electronic form with more specific information about registration deadlines, cost, and accommodations.
3. Fill out the form and either print it and send to the address listed with cash or check or choose the email option if paying online with a SOFS cost object number.

We will keep you updated throughout the summer as to parking, booths, and other pertinent information for the actual day, so be sure to give us an email account that we can send you information throughout the summer.
