Pep Rally

Start the new Husker season off right with the annual Friday Night Pep Rally in the UNL Coliseum. Join the Big Red Machine as Husker football and volleyball* give you a sneak preview of the new season. The Scarlets and Cheer Squad will electrify the atmosphere and lead key Nebraska chants and fight songs. Lindsey from 106.3 KFRX will host the celebration and introduce the brand new CORNOPOLY game where one lucky student will win a pair of corporate sideline Husker football tickets! Come out and get your Red on!

Husker Mania

Continue your Husker journey by exploring more than 40 booths where you will have an interactive Husker experience. Learn about Campus Rec programs including sports clubs, outdoor adventure and intramurals. Also snag tons of giveaways from food vendors, local businesses and more. This year’s line up includes: Raising Canes, University Bookstore, Husker Athletics, College of Hair Design, Cycleworks, Pepsi, Papa John’s, Hy-Vee and More! Don’t miss your chances to win even bigger prizes throughout the night!

Bike Tours

We will be offering two rides on Saturday August 20, 2011

Morning Ride      Departs @11:00am... Returns about 2:00pm.
Evening ride        Departs @4:00pm... Returns about 7:00pm.

Participants will do a short ride enjoying the trails within the city and enjoy a burrito from Chipotle at a city park.

No bike? No problem, you can borrow one of our rental bikes for the ride! Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled ride to be fitted for your bike and helmet.

Outdoor Adventure Staff will lead the ride. Riders must wear an approved bike helmet and wear closed  toed shoes for the ride. This is a free event, however you must sign up to reserve a spot as these rides fill up early every year!
